Running a business requires a number of tools and resources. Below are some of the ones that have helped me the most. Hopefully they will help you as much as they’ve helped me.
- FreshBooks: Want quick, painless, and affordable accounting? For as little as $15 per month, you can get set up FreshBooks, the only accounting software I recommend. FreshBooks helps you tackle: Invoicing, Expense Tracking, Time Tracking, Reporting, and more. They can also help you get paid faster through simple, online payment processing. Get your free 30 day trail set up in minutes.
- Panda Planner: Getting Things Done taught me the importance of getting tasks out of your head. But David Allen’s system never worked for me. I’d get overwhelmed with too many lists. Panda Planner is different. Panda Planner organizes everything into daily, weekly, and monthly reviews. I find it sharpens my focus and gets me to take action. I also enjoy the daily gratitude and reflection. Using Panda Planner I feel happier, more satisfied, and get more done.
- Headspace: Mediation made simple. I’ve been experimenting with mediation for a few months now. I started with free app and 10-day program. I went on to subscribe because I find it helps me stress less, focus more, and in general, just feel better. A must for any business owner.
